We hope you've all had as great a year as we've had. As we do at the end of each year, here is a summary of ROSI's significant achievements and major developments over the course of 2023. It is with great enthusiasm that we share these key moments, witnessing our commitment to the transformation of the solar industry.
January
PV magazine award
2023 began with the prestigious PV magazine award. Each year, this leading monthly magazine selects a series of innovations in several fields that are leading the photovoltaic industry towards new standards. In January, PV Magazine selected ROSI for the 2022 prize in the Manufacturing category.
Meeting with Heads of State
In collaboration with Siemens, ROSI then had the honour of presenting its Europe-wide deployment project to French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. Their support and interest demonstrates not only the importance of our vision for a circular economy, but also the ambition of two states to work together for the European renaissance of the photovoltaic industry.

ROSI accompanies the French President's delegation to China
For the first time, the delegation accompanying French President Emmanuel Macron on his visit to China included start-ups focusing on environmental impact mitigation. ROSI, as a leading company in technologies serving the circular economy, was part of this delegation. During the visit, ROSI was able to discuss these issues with leading French and Chinese decision-makers.

Inauguration of ROSI Alpes
We are proud to announce the inauguration of ROSI Alpes, the world's first plant capable of recycling silicon, silver and copper from the active part of solar panels, as well as glass and aluminium. With a revolutionary processing capacity that will reach 10,000 tonnes/year in the coming years, this facility illustrates our commitment to the circular economy, environmentally-friendly recycling and economically profitable activity.
Winner of the French Tech 2030 program
At the same time, we were selected as a winner of the French Tech 2030 programme at the VivaTech trade show, joining 125 other companies who, like us, are committed to providing practical, large-scale solutions to the challenges of tomorrow.

First sales of recycled materials
In 2023, ROSI turned its efforts into reality by launching production at the ROSI Alpes site and starting to sell high-purity recycled materials to its first customers. This crucial step testifies to the success of our innovative approach and underlines our position as a pioneer in the recycling and recovery of raw materials for the photovoltaic industry.

Partnerships with LuxChemTech in Germany and France & Yingli Solar in Europe
ROSI has established a strategic partnership with LuxChemTech to usher in a new era of photovoltaic recycling in Germany, Europe's largest market. This collaboration promises to accelerate our positive impact on the European solar industry by combining the skills of two pioneering companies in this field.
Finally, our strategic partnership with Yingli Solar, a renowned manufacturer of high-quality solar panels. Together, we are committed to shaping a circular solar energy economy in Europe, strengthening our position as a leader in the industry.
High media profile
On the media front, during 2023, our initiative attracted considerable interest from national and international media such as TF1, BBC, RTS (Radio Télévision Suisse), France 2, Euronews, among others. The media coverage highlights the general public's growing awareness of the challenges of the circular economy and the growing recognition of ROSI as a major player in the photovoltaic industry. We have also had the privilege of being the subject of dedicated articles in publications such as the BEI, France Bleu Isère and Les Echos. We are grateful for this media coverage and remain determined to pursue our commitment to sustainable and innovative practices.
