After demonstrating the viability of its technology for recycling high-purity silicon, silver, copper, and glass from the photovoltaic industry’s production and product waste during the ramp-up phase of its first solar recycling plant in France, a world first as well, ROSI is set to increase its facility capacity in France and expand its activities in Germany and Spain by launching two new facilities.
To support this innovative process that plays a major role in the development of a circular economy for the photovoltaic industry, European Investment Bank (EIB) has listed ROSI project in its financing pipeline for up to 22M€.
The primary objectives of the project ROSI is to create new local sources of critical materials such as silicon and silver in order to strengthen the European sovereignty in the field of renewable energies.
