2020 was a turning point for ROSI. Like elsewhere, it challenged all our team members in their personal life, but also in their professional life as we maintained a sustained pace in our activities while protecting the health of each of us. It strongly affected the activities of our partners, and we hope that they will quickly recover from this challenging period. In these tough conditions, ROSI was quite lucky. Because we received in 2020 strong acknowledgement of our potential. Following our R&D programs sponsored by the French environmental agency ADEME and the public investment bank BPI France, we were honoured to receive the support of EIT RawMaterials, the European Innovation Council (EIC) and the H2020 program. They will allow us to go through the final stages of the industrialization of our PV modules recycling technologies. We are also very proud to have completed our pilot line in Grenoble where we now have all the equipment needed to recycle silicon from the PV industry.
For this year 2021 — that we wish will be easier for everybody, ROSI will keep moving forward quickly. We hope to start the construction of our first industrial recycling lines and to demonstrate that high-value circular economy is doable and profitable for the photovoltaic industry!
